Community Involvement

South Vancouver Island Rangers caught 20 per cent more fish at their derby in August compared to 2023., The group brought in a haul of 600 pounds of salmon, which was all given to the food bank to share with the community.

The efforts from fundraising events such as a fishing derby, sports shooting events, facility rentals, and the annual Christmas toy drive, allowed the SVI Rangers to raise and donate cash and fresh salmon for the Goldstream Food Bank.
